The 98174, which is composed of a 1-piece commercial vacuum s-wand and a 14-inch natural fill floor brush, is ideal for use on sensitive floor surfaces such as hardwood, softwood, polished stone, tile, and laminates. The 1.50-inch x 54-inch commercial s-wand features a unique locking mechanism that ensures a tight, wobble-free connection when assembled. The high-impact, chemical-resistant ABS compression coupling can accommodate both 1-1/2-inch and 1-9/16-inch commercial nozzles.

The 14-inch wide natural fill floor brush is designed to clean sensitive surfaces without the risk of damage. A 10-inch wide window cut across the face of the tool allows for effective airflow across the full width of the tool, aiding in the collection of both large and fine particulate. The soft, wraparound, non-marring bumper prevents damage to baseboards, kick plates, and furnishings.

The 98174 is suitable for use with commercial backpack vacuums, dry and wet-dry commercial vacuums, and home shop vacuums equipped with a 1.50-inch hose. It includes a 14-inch natural fill floor brush and a 1-piece S-wand.

The robust natural fill completely encompasses the base of the brush, ensuring no damage to floor surfaces, including hardwood, tile, polished stone, vinyl, or laminate. The window cut to the front face of the brush allows the vacuum to capture larger debris rather than push it around, making it ideal for hardwood floor refinishers.

The brush is made of a durable PP with a reinforced collar, designed for reliable use in a commercial environment. It is compatible with all major brands of backpack vacuums using 1-1/2-inch S-wands, including Sanitaire, ProTeam, Karcher, Tennant, Mosquito, Mercury, Hawke, Nilfisk, and Sandia. The brush can be mounted and securely held by commercial extension wands equipped with a compression coupling for above-the-floor applications.

The 54-inch one-piece painted steel S-wand has a locking button to secure the two halves from separating when in use. The ABS compression locking collar is resistant to chemicals and floor strippers, avoiding the pitting and stripping associated with cast metal collars. The compression lock will accept tools with either a 1-1/2-inch or 1-9/16-inch collar.
